Bobbie Lee Jacobson, 73, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 14th, 2018.
Bobbie could always be counted on for a can of WD40 and reached for it whenever a squeak was heard. Be it pantyhose, purses or pictures, there was no such thing as too much. She was as thrifty as she was a fixer. She had a creative streak with her love of ceramics and never really grew up as was attested to by a collection of dolls that she kept her entire life.
More importantly, was Bobbie’s love of God. She was stalwart in her beliefs throughout her life and passed on this strength to her children and grandchildren. She loved teaching Sunday School and even more so loved everyone at her church home, Westview Baptist Church. They were a second family to her.
Bobbie Lee Jacobson will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cindy and Sandy, their spouses and grandchildren, Krista, Jessica, Nathan, Clayton, Blake, Shilo and Shayla. She will be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren, Breanna, Steven, Jared, Matthew, Jesse and Madison. She is also survived by her brothers, Ken, Johnny and their families.
Bobbie would want everyone to be happy, think well of her and to love God.
Memorial service will be held on at Westview Baptist Church (1037 Fairview Ave, Kingsport, Tn) Saturday September 22nd at 11am with Pastor Mike Stout officiating. Following the service a Gathering of Remembrance will be held in the fellowship hall with lunch provided by the ladies of the church.
