Billy Rene Fletcher

Billy Rene Fletcher, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Indian Path Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He was born on August 18, 1934 in Clintwood, VA. Before moving to Kingsport, TN in 2002, he resided in Michigan and in Maryland. Billy was of the Christian and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Ethel Colley Fletcher; two sisters, Rita Mullins (Baltimore, MD) and Wilma Kerr (Kingsport, TN); and nephew, Randall Mullins (Baltimore, MD). He is survived by three sons, Billy Fletcher, Jr., Raymond and Dwayne Fletcher, all of Michigan; two daughters, Cynthia Fletcher (Michigan) and Crystal Fletcher (Coeburn, VA); one brother, Jim (Bonnie) Fletcher; three sisters, Anna (Frank) Mullins, Genola (Mars E.) Hawkins and Edith (Gary) Hawkins, all of Kingsport, TN; brother in law, Reverend Brownlow Mullins, Sr. (Baltimore, MD); eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. At his request, there will be a private graveside service for the family. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to be serving the Fletcher family.
