Billy Jerold Gouge Jr.

October 20, 1967 — July 17, 2020

Billy Jerold Gouge Jr, of Kingsport, TN, received his angel wings on July 17th, 2020. His final days were spent surrounded by his friends and family. Bill was born on October 20th, 1967 in Gainsville, Florida to Billy Gouge Sr and Rosemary Tipton Gouge. He attended Washington College Academy along with Milligan College. Bill and Regina were married on December 27, 1988. Their family was complete with their two daughters, Molly and Courtney Gouge who brought them a lifetime of happiness and memories. Bill was a faithful employee to Giusappes Italian Restaurant in Kingsport for 15 years. Bill always considered the Misciagna family like his own and took Michaael Misciagna along as his best friend. Bill moved to Winter Springs, Florida in 2009 and ran his own LLC through R.L. Schreiber Company. Bill and his family were very grateful to the Schreiber family in the last years through his declining health. His enjoyment for the last few years was spending time with his grandchildren, Tiffany, Bayley, Lilly, and Alex, whom he loved dearly. He also had a great love for his faithful companions Buddy and Lucy, who never left his bedside. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Billy Gouge Sr.; his mother, Rosemary Gouge; daughter, Molly Gouge; and sister, Vicky Gouge. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Regina Spears Gouge; daughter Courtney Gouge of Kingsport, Tennessee; brother Charles Gouge (Tina) of Fall Branch; sister Delia Venters (John) of Kingsport, Tennessee; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and his mother in law, Audrey spears, who will miss him dearly. The family would like to thank the staff of Amedisys who were beside him on his journey home. Regina would also like to thank her sister, Melanie Ketron, who has not left her side through this journey. “Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, its about learning to dance in the rain.” A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 21st, 2020 at Model City Event Center from 6pm-9pm. Friends are welcome to stop by the family home anytime to pay their respects. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Amedisys Hospice of Kingsport or to the Kingsport Animal Shelter.
