In Loving Memory of Billy "Bill" Collier

March 27, 1936 - April 22, 2025

Billy Collier, born on March 27, 1936, in Fleming-Neon, Kentucky, proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1958, achieving the rank of Airman First Class.

On April 22, 2025, at 11:00 p.m., Bill passed away peacefully, reuniting with his beloved parents, Cleo "Creole" Collier and Aaron T. Collier; his first wife, Darletta Collier; daughter, Cheryl K. Stidham; sisters, Shirley, Edith, and Pauline; and brothers, Hurcle and Clarence.

Bill is survived by his loving, devoted wife, Laurie Collier, with whom he built a life full of love and family. He leaves behind his loving daughter, Emily McCloud, a tireless advocate and constant source of love and support; his son, Lonnie Collier, and daughter-in-law, Becky; and a cherished son, Daniel McCloud, of whom Bill often said, "If anyone would, he would."

He is also survived by his sisters, Ivadene (Coy) and Mazie, as well as numerous grandchildren-Jonathan, Bentley, Brynlee, Timothy, Meaghan, Dakota, Courtney, April, Chandler, and Drayven-along with many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will carry his memory forward.

In keeping with Bill's wishes, no formal services will be held; a small family gathering with military proceedings will be held at Mountain Home. His family honors his life and memory with profound love and gratitude, especially his years of military service and the values he instilled in those who knew him.
