Billie Jo Coleman

Billie Jo Branham Coleman, age 67, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Holston Valley Medical Center, on January 13, 2024, after a short battle with lung cancer.

She was born June 22, 1956, in Washington DC, and moved to Kingsport in 1968. Billie attended Lynn View High School. She worked for numerous Frontier Health facilities for over two decades.

Billie loved her very large family, lived for her kids, enjoyed going out to eat, music, and Jesus.

She was preceded in death father, Jerry Davis; sister, Barbara Branham Firoozi; brother, Jerry Davis Jr.; niece, Sherry Wells White; and nephew, Mark Zamanpour.

Surviving are her mother, Jean Davis;
Children, Traci Rogers (Nashville); Clifton Rogers, Jr. (Kingsport); Lance Coleman (Kingsport); and Larry Coleman (Kingsport); Stepdaughter, Jennifer Helton;
Grandchildren, Tyler Rogers (Abingdon); Noah Rogers (Abingdon); Ryan, Lacey Coleman (Blountville); and Allie Grace Coleman (Kingsport);
Sisters, Rose Johnson (Kingsport); Mary Flores (Blountville);
Brothers, Eddie Branham (Kingsport); Richard Best (Arlington, VA); David and Marsha Davis (Church Hill);
Several nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to thank all of the Ballad Health staff at the ICU on the 5th floor and also the staff on step down 6th floor along with hospice care for doing a wonderful job for caring for Billie.

A celebration of life service may be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to The American Cancer Society.
