Betty Ann Winburn

Betty A. Winburn, age 70, of Blountville, TN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2024.
Born in Bristol, Tennessee in 1953, Betty was a loving and devoted family member. She had a passion for embroidery, dancing, music, and gardening, all of which brought joy to her and those around her.
Betty is preceded in death by her son, Micheal Anderson; her parents, Josephine Combs and Earnest Holt; her grandparents, Lettie Jarrells and Samuel Jarrells; her brother, Tim Holt, who is survived by his wife Sherry Holt; and her special dog, Peanut.
Left to cherish Betty's memory are her spouse, JD Diltz; her sons, Larry Shortridge and his wife Melody Shortridge, and David Anderson; her grandchildren, Brittany Shortridge and Savannah Lilly; her great-grandchildren, Melvin Turnmire and Ginger Turnmire; her brothers, David Holt and his wife Carol Holt, and Randy Holt and his wife Cathy Holt; her sisters, Marsha Roberts and Mary Nicholson; and her furry companion, Cookie.
Betty's family will be celebrating her life from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Sunday, June 30th, at Steele Creek Park in the VFW Pavilion. The park is located at 4 Little Lane, Bristol, Tennessee 37620.
Betty will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her loving spirit and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
