Bette Jean Morrell, 79, of Kingsport, TN, passed from this earthly home to her Heavenly home to join her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 15, 2018.
Born in Asheville, North Carolina on May 13, 1938, she was the daughter of the late John and Georgia Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Morrell.
Bette is survived by her son, John and wife, Rhonda Morrell of Kingsport; daughter, Amy Morrell and husband, John Hubbard Jr of Blountville; grandchildren, Emalyne and Abigayle Hubbard; and fur babies, Jake and Bella.
A gathering of family and friends for an evening of food and memories will be held at Trinity’s Downtown Life Celebration Center (Model City Event Center, 201 East Center Street, Kingsport, TN) on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
The family would like to send a special thank you to her caregivers, Janice Haas and Angelia Boozer
In lieu of flowers, Bette’s request was to give donations to the Sullivan County Animal Shelter.
