Barbara Jean Lawson

Barbara Jean Lawson, 76, of Duffield, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Ridgecrest Nursing Home. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland and had been in this area all her life. Barbara loved to read, take kids to the park, and she loved being around her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mack Lawson; parents, Charlie and Mae Tate Lawson; and sister, Millie Pifer. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Jackie Lawson (Kingsport, TN); son, Eddie Lawson (Melissa) (Kingsport, TN); grandchildren, Candice Buljat (Pennsylvania), Amber Lawson, Ricky Lawson, Julie Lawson, Misty Lawson and Savannah Lawson (all of Kingsport, TN); several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Rhoten officiating.
