Barbara Delynn Conn

November 14, 1955 — March 24, 2014

Barbara Delynn Conn, age 58, of Church Hill, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2014, following a lengthy illness, at Brookhaven Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Perry County, Kentucky, and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Frankfort, KY. She had resided in Hawkins County, Tennessee since 1991. She was a loving and caring mother, nanna B, daughter, sister, and a friend to everyone who knew her. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years, Thomas D. Conn of Rogersville; father-in-law, Woodrow Conn of Rogersville, who she dearly loved; father, Arnold Gayhart of Maynardsville, TN; paternal grandparents, whom raised her, Luna and Ed Gayhart of Sunset, TN. She leaves behind, two beloved daughters, Misti S. Conn (Darrol Davis) of Church Hill, TN and Tiffani S. Conn (William Maxwell) of Kingsport; two lovely beloved grandchildren, Thomas Kayden and Kenyenn Chase Maxwell of Kingsport; a special friend, Jeanette Maxwell of Kingsport; four sister-in-laws in Franfort, KY; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Brookhaven Manor Nursing Home and Trinity Memorial. A celebration of life memorial will be conducted at 4:00pm on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Salem United Methodist Church with Pastor Will Shewey officiating. Fellowship and a meal will follow.
