Austin Tanner Chase Cassidy

Austin Tanner Chase Cassidy (aka: Bubba and Little Man), 27, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023, unexpectedly. Austin was born in Kingsport, TN, on October 8, 1996.
He was preceded in death by his great grandmother Eva Mae Cassidy (Mother), his beloved grandmother Mary Ann Cassidy (MiMi) who Austin loved very much, and his great aunt Shelia Ferguson.
Survivors include daughter, Aubree Mullins, Grandmother, Lora Ollis Barrier of Morganton, NC, Father, Joey Oxford and wife Stephanie Dula of Drexel, NC, and 2 stepbrothers, Shane and Wesley Lackey of Newton, NC. Mother, Dawn Cassidy and fiancé Charlie Broome. Sister, Kayla Strickler and husband Cody Whaley, niece and nephew Derek and Eliana Potter. Brother, Dawson Williams. Aunt Sarah Petersen and husband Eric Petersen, cousins Sydney Jones and Elizabeth Petersen. Aunt Halie Mathews and husband Daniel Mathews, cousins Christian Cassidy, Emma Mathews, and Madelynn Mathews. Life-long close friends Zack Kincheloe, Andrew Perry, and other special friends.
Austin was outgoing, adventurous, loved to hunt and fish, swimming, and playing basketball. He was hardworking, loved working outdoors, running big equipment, mowing lawns, paving and sealing driveways. Hanging out and spending time with his life-long friends. Austin had a big heart and cared so much about helping others out and was well loved by everyone he came across; touching the hearts of a lot of people and he lit up a room with his big smile.
