Ashley Suzanne McNutt, 37, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024.

Ashley McNutt was a soul full of Love and Grace, a testament of Strength, and a fount of Kindness. She was a Best Friend, a True Love, a paradigm of Humanity, and the most excellent Mother in the known world. Blessed with the gift of appreciation for all of life's quiet, secret things, Ashley took joy in every gust of wind, every seashell rattled by surf and tide, every glint of light on leaf, every popping sound an earthworm makes after a rainstorm as they break the soil's surface. Most of all, Ashley found joy and delight in her family and friends, and in satiating her occasional taste for adventure by living some of the most unbelievable tales you'd ever hear.
Ashley was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Ethel Fletcher, Kermit and Julia Hawkins; uncle, Bill Fletcher; aunts, Rita Mullins, Dorsie Hughes, and Wilma Kerr; and cousins, Ben Hawkins, Randy Mullins, and Donna Altman.
Ashley is survived by her husband, Brent McNutt; her daughter, Aubrey McNutt; mother, Edith Hawkins; her father, Gary Hawkins; her "papaw" Frank and "nanna" Anna Mullins, Ervin and Genola Hawkins, Morris and Rita Hawkins, Jewel Shipley, Juanita and Bob Bryant, special cousin, Angie and fiancé Trevor; and a full compliment of well loved Cousins and Friends.
Receiving of Friends will be at Trinity Memorial Center in Kingsport, TN on Monday, May 20 at 11:00 am until 1:00 pm; Funeral to follow at 1:00 pm. Graveside Service will be at East Lawn Cemetery at 3:00 pm.
