Ashley Nicole Way

Ashley Nicole Way, 30, of Kingsport, TN, beloved mother, daughter, sister, niece, and aunt, left her earthly home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 20, 2023.
Ashley was preceded in death by her infant brother, Alex Austin; grandparents, William Haskiell Way, Sr. (Church Hill, TN), Michael and Jean Larkin (Amelia, OH); uncle, Andy Fowler (Kingsport, TN); and cousin, Jerad VanDyke.
Ashley is survived by her loving, beautiful daughter, Madelyn Ann Weidacher; her fiance, Kurt Weidacher; parents, Melissa Austin and William (Spanky) Haskiell Way, Jr; grandparents, Richard and Ellen Johnson (Elizabethton, TN) , Phil and Paula Light (Kingsport, TN); her best friend and big brother, Casey Austin (Justine) and Corey Moore; sisters, Jessica Richards (David Russell), Sarah Austin (Joe), Jordan Way (Casey) and Paige Way; nieces, Chloe and Sadie; nephews, Dalton, Zaine, Rydan, Rylan, Brylan and Lucas; aunts, Treasa House, Teri Larkin, Rhonda Morrell (John), Rebecca Repass, Candie and Kendra (Addie); countless cousins and special friends.
Ashley was born on June 2, 1992, in Kingsport, TN. She was a graduate of Sullivan North High School class of 2010. She was recently employed by Morning Pointe Assisted Living as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Ashley's hobbies included baking and spending time with her precious Madelyn, her family, and her friends. She was an avid UT Vols fan. She was truly loved by everyone that had the honor to know her. Her greatest love was her family. Her family would like to express their gratitude to special and loyal friends, Carolyn Hittle and preacher Neal.
A visitation to honor the life of Ashley Nicole Way will be held at Trinity Memorial Centers on Saturday, February 25th, 2023, from 6 pm until 8 pm. The family has requested that everyone wear their favorite UT Vol attire!
