Anne Evans Nollner, 95, of Lexington, VA, died on October 27, 2021 at the home of her daughter in Kingsport, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Ralph E. Nollner, Jr; her parents Ira Cannon and Mae Powell Evans of Atlanta; and her sister and brother-in-law Col. Joseph and Carolyn Evans Martin of Lexington, VA.
She is survived by three sons; Ralph E. Nollner, Jr., Thomas Evans Nollner, William McClure and wife Judy Marble Nollner, one daughter, Elizabeth Anne Shannon and husband Arthur I. Shannon, Jr., and daughter-in-law Cathy Roberts Nollner.
Mrs. Nollner was the proud grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 12.
Anne loved to travel, hug her grands and never met a scarf she didn’t like.
Mrs. Nollner will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery with her husband Ralph Nollner at a later date.
