Doland & Ann Craig

-

To everyone who doesn’t already know, it is with a very sad and heavy heart we announce on September 21st, our parents Ann Marie Craig and Donald Stanley Craig, were taken to the ER and diagnosed with covid-pneumonia. They were both hospitalized within two days of each other. After a long hard fight, our Dad, Donald, passed and was called to be home with God on October 3rd, 2021, around 1:30 pm. Our mother kept fighting, but we think God knew how hard it would be for her to live without her soulmate, so on October 15th, 2021, at 8:00 am, God called her home to be with her husband.

We can’t even begin to describe both the pain and happiness we are feeling. The pain of losing two of the most loving and caring parents and people we have ever known. And the joy of knowing they will never have to be without each other in Heaven.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Helen Craig, his brother, Danny Craig.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Monte and MarieLou Lindsey.

They are both survived by their sons, D.J. Craig and Paul Craig; grandkids, Tyler Craig, Kayla Cronin, Jessica Smith, and Alissa Connell (all of Paul); great-grandkids, Jackson Cronin (of Kayla); Donald’s brother, Raye Sizemore, Colin Craig; Donald’s nephew, Zachary Craig.

A memorial service will be held at a later time in Tennessee and Illinois. Please check back for times and dates.

Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the family.
