Angelique Lannette Ferguson

Angelique Lannette Ferguson, 43, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024.
Born in 1980 in Kingsport, TN, Angelique attended Dobyns-Bennett High School. After school, she joined the army, proudly serving her country until 2005, and then continued her dedication in the National Reserves for a few more years.
Angelique was known for her outgoing personality, her ability to command a room, and her kind and sweet soul. She treated her friends with immense kindness and had a heart full of love for her children. The military was a significant part of her life, and she took great pride in her service. Tragically, a car accident ended her military career, cutting short her dreams of a full career and retirement in the service.
She deeply loved her mother and her family, and her loss will be profoundly felt by all who knew her.
Angelique was predeceased by her grandmother, Mamie Reed. She is survived by her children, Kira, Dylan, and Ethan Brown; her grandchildren, Amelia, Everly, and Kinsley; her mother, Kathy Compton; her father, Johnny Compton, her sister, Misti Cox; her brother, Curtis Ferguson; her dear friend, Ashley Smith; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family has invited friends to stop by anytime to visit. Visitation will be held at Trinity Memorial on Wednesday July 3rd from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
