Angela Marie Mclean

October 7, 1981 — December 3, 2018

Angela Marie McLean traded in her earthly wings for heavenly ones on the third of December, 2018. Angela was born on October 7,1981 in Kingsport, Tennessee. "Angie" as her friends called her, had a passion for helping others even without needing to be asked. Angie took great pleasure in cooking for the family and her friends and truly cooked from the heart. Angie was an avid animal lover and a die hard North Carolina "Tarheels" fan. Angie was devoted to making her children's lives the best she possibly could. She loved music and dancing, and held her family and friends very near and dear. Angie loved tattoos and called her sessions "therapy". She loved flowers, vacations, family gatherings and anything involving being outdoors. Angie was a care giver who took care of several family members when they fell ill and was usually the first to offer support and loved more than anything to make everyone happy! She is preceded in death by her father, Gerald Ray McLean Sr.; "Mamaw", Bertha Mae McLean; and stepmother, Christine "Tiny" Riddle. She is survived by her husband, Stron Lee Adams; her children, Larry Allen Parvin, Anna Adams and Andrew Adams; siblings, Gerald Ray McLean, Jr. and wife, Angie Mclean, Brenda and husband, Jerry Fields, Priscilla Riddle and husband, KB, Rosie Riddle, Cynthia Soniat, Robert Patriquin, Donna Tortomase Everett, and Estelleta Shafer and partner, Brandon Armstrong; very special mother-in-law, Jean Kennedy; very special cousin, "Boogie"; special friend, Mike McConnell; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. Service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 1-3:00 PM at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. A life celebration is to follow after the service at her sister Estelleta's home. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to be serving the McLean family.
