Angela Kay Gutierrez, 44, of Johnson City, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the Johnson City Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Angela was born on August 13th, 1979, to the late David Paul Smith and Debra Ruth Carr in Johnson City.

Angela was an avid dog lover and dog breeder. She enjoyed music and she loved flowers, roses and orchids were her favorite.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Mildred Smith; maternal grandmother, Naomi Sampson; and cousin, Stephen Smith.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Miguel Gutierrez, Reymundo Gutierrez, Alysia Gutierrez, and Malakiah Gutierrez; former spouse, and father of her children, Miguel Gutierrez-Bobidilla; sister, Lisa Smith (and Todd Conley); half brother, Cody Woods; nephews, Dustin Smith and Braxton Smith; aunts, Sarah Wells and Connie Rodifer; uncles, Bobby Sampson and Butchy Sampson; several cousins; and her special dogs, Dreama, Angelica, and Lily.

A Celebration of Angela's Life will take place Sunday, April 28th, 2024, from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM, at Full Gospel Holiness Church 2225 North Greenwood Drive, Johnson City, Tennessee 37604.

The immediate family would like to extend their gratitude to the many medical professionals that cared for Angela and the family and friends that have offered support and love during this time.
