Angel Arizona Mcdaniel

December 28, 1969 — July 4, 2021

Angel Arizona McDaniel, age 51, began her heavenly transition on July 4th, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 28, 1969, in Pontiac, Mich., to Deborah Crumpler. Angel grew up in Atlanta, Ga., and Tampa, Fla. She was a devoted, loving, and caring wife to her husband of 20 years and the most wonderful mother to her two children whom she loved with everything she had. Everyone who knew Angel loved her, and her name reflects her spirit. She was the kindest, most caring, generous person you would have ever met. Now, she is an angel to the many people who loved her. Angel is survived by her husband Corinthia McDaniel, daughter Amanda (Shane) Varney, son Josh Lambert (and partner Stephen Gaynier), mother Deborah Crumpler, grandfather Fred Fricks, sister Lori Williams, twin brother Tony (Melinda) Crumpler; brothers Bryan (Milene) Brownlow, Randy (Cara) Crumpler, John (Shannon) Crumpler; many nieces, nephews, the McDaniel Family, special honorary mother, Beverly Lambert, and extended family; and her very special dog Jack. She was preceded in death by her father, Marlin Crumpler, her grandmother, Vivian T. Fricks, and grandmother-in-love, Dorothy K. McDaniel. The family would like to thank everyone at WMA Women's Cancer Services Kingsport who took care of and loved Angel during her journey with cancer. Without the love and kindness they showed Angel, the process would have been much more difficult. Thank you so much. To Miranda Thomas, Angela Jarrett, and Chelsea Pinson, thank you for being the best care team to Angel. All of you will hold a special place in the family's hearts for the rest of their lives. Please join us in celebrating Angel's life Saturday morning July 10, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Jubilee World Outreach, 1409 Indian Ridge Rd., Johnson City, Tenn. Receiving of friends and family will begin at 10 a.m. Angel had a deep love and affinity for farm animals, specifically cows. In lieu of flowers, Angel determined prior to her passing that she would like donations to be made to the Gentle Barn.
