Andrea Rose Russell

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Andrea Rose Russell-a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and compassionate friend-who left us on April 2, 2025, at the age of 53, after a courageous five-year battle with cancer.

Born on February 4, 1972, Andrea was a beacon of love and kindness. She devoted her life to her son, Gethin, who now carries forward her legacy of compassion and strength. At 27 years old, he is a testament to the values she so lovingly instilled. Andrea's grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment with them, creating cherished memories that will live on in their hearts.

Andrea was not only a devoted family member but also a passionate advocate for animals. Her home served as a sanctuary for those in need, and she dedicated herself to providing shelter, care, and love to countless furry companions. Her unwavering empathy and kindness extended to all living beings, reflecting the depth of her generous spirit.

As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate a remarkable life. Andrea taught us the importance of kindness, resilience, and the beauty of unconditional love. She will be remembered always for her warm heart, nurturing soul, and steadfast support of her family and animal friends.

A memorial celebrating Andrea's life will be held on June 14, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at the Watauga Point Recreation Area Pavilion, beside Watauga Lake in Hampton, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to the ASPCA.

Though Andrea may be gone from our sight, she will remain in our hearts-forever loved, forever missed.
