Amy Marie (Rinker) Payne
October 3, 1961 - May 8, 2023

Amy, 61 years young, passed away peacefully after a short illness at Ballad Health Hospice House, in Bristol, TN.

Born in Syracuse, NY she lived most of her young days in Bethesda, Maryland, a place she always considered home. After moving with her family to Miami, Florida she graduated from Palmetto Senior High School. She and her husband Joseph Payne resided in New Tazewell, TN

Amy is preceded in death by her mother and father, Glenn and Nancy Rinker; and older brother, Kevin Rinker.

Amy leaves behind her younger brothers, Anthony (Tony) and wife Elizabeth Rinker, Springfield, VA and Steve and wife Lori Rinker, Rochaster, NY; nieces, Jennifer Rinker Moudy, Samantha and Megan Rinker, Beth Blackstock and Brandy Robinson Levingston; and nephews, Danny Rinker and Will Blackstock ; sister-in-law, Betsy Payne Blackstock and husband Rick; and great niece, Celeste Card; and great nephew, Colton Levingston.

Two of Amy's favorite cousins who were in touch with her near her last days she would like to mention are, Betsy Kemp and Peter Baumann that were dear to her all through her life.

Her family plan a small memorial in a favorite vacation spot on her birthday this fall. She expressed her concern that any donations in her honor be directed to a no-kill animal shelter of your choosing.
