Amanda Michelle Slaughter Ball, 43, of Kingsport, passed away unexpectedly at the home of her mother on March 3, 2023. Amanda was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and had attended Sullivan South High School. Amanda enjoyed spending time at South Holston Lake, going on camping trips, and loved watching a beautiful sunset. She was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by the greatest blessing of her life, daughter Nevaeh Slaughter of Kingsport. She will forever be loved and missed by her father Tom Slaughter, mother Theresa Dingus Slaughter, sister Sara Slaughter Armstrong, brother Nick Slaughter (Carly), all of Kingsport; aunt Brenda Slaughter Neas (Steve); nephew Cody Porter; husband Jerome Ball; step-daughter Haley Ball and her children Nayvie and Graelyn Montgomery; dear friend Miranda Williams; and partner April Seiber. She so enjoyed the pups in her life Harley, Sophie and Gracie.
Amanda was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Barbara Dingus and her paternal grandparents L. V. "Buck" and Ruth Slaughter.
A visitation for Amanda's family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 18 from 3-5 PM at Trinity Funeral Home, 1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, TN. At 4:30, anyone who wishes will be given the opportunity to share their fondest memories of Amanda. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the local animal shelter in memory of Amanda.
