Alma Jeanette Watson

Alma Jeanette Watson, 87, of Kingsport, TN passed away of natural causes on November 4th, 2018. Alma was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1931 to Wendel and Anna Dorner where she grew up until moving to Ohio in 1951. She was employed by the Ohio Edison Company as a secretary for 10 years. She loved animals, especially dogs and cats and had a great interest in American and English history. Alma moved to Tennessee in 1996. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Concord Baptist Church in Farragut TN. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Barbara Anne Dorner, and her brother Wendel Dorner Jr. She is survived by her son, Jay Watson and wife Janet of Kingsport, TN; also her pen pal of 70 years, Marion Dickie of Scotland.
