Alan Timothy Minor

Alan Timothy Minor, 34, of Gate City, VA, passed away on Friday, February 14th, 2020. A1 was born and raised in Toledo, OH. Later on in life he moved to Kingsport, TN. He met Misty in 2012 and they were married shortly after. Over the years he has made many close friends. He loved his children and his family. He always helped anyone that asked. A1 had a big heart. He was a complex personality and had many taste in music, football, and hanging out with his favorite bud. His time here with us was cut short and all of his family and friends will miss him greatly. He is preceded by his father, Timothy Minor; mother, Leslie Grant; brother, KC Grant. He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Misty; sons, Michael Ray, Montel KC Devon, Alan Minor Jr.; sister-in-law, April Hall, Pam McGhee; sisters, Timika Minor, Timbalina Minor, Ahjanae Williams, Unique Minor; brother, Darrell Williams; mother-in-law, Mary Guy; several nieces and nephews; and lots of friends.
