Adrian Bruce Pierson

Adrian Bruce Pierson, 55, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Saturday (February 14, 2015) at his residence. Bruce was a very loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In his spare time, he enjoyed mechanic work, and building model cars with his daughter. Bruces passion in life was being a great father, and living for the Lord. He will be sorely missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, H. Paul and Launa Pierson; and brother, Phillip Pierson. He is survived by his daughter, Cori Pierson and son-in-law Tim Peters, of Kingsport; granddaughter, Aria Peters, of Kingsport; God-daughter, Madeline Collins; Life-long friend, Jane McCoy; brother, Brian Pierson; three sisters, Kathy Barrett, Susie Wells, and Nancy Ward; and lifetime friends, Joe and Thelma Solomon. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday (February 20, 2015)at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home Chapel from 4 to 5 p.m. The funeral service will follow with Pastor Will Shewey officiating. Comments Sorry to hear about Bruces passing. He was a great guy that would always brighten a room. We went all through school together and were very close friends until I moved out of the area in the early 90s and lost contact. We jokingly called each other “Cuz” because we had the same last name. It wasnt until later when I filled out a family tree that I discovered that we were actually 4th cousins once removed. Sympathy and prayers to all the family.
