Connie Lynne Cook, age 51, of Glade Springs, VA, passed away October 21st, 2018 at her home. She was happiest while spending time with family, friends and her dog, Marchie. Connie enjoyed taking care of her horses. She loved flowers and plants of all kind and always kept her flower beds full. She was born on April 8, 1967.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rufus Clay and Peggy Lee Cook; and husband, Dwight Thomas Cook, Sr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lindsey Lane and husband Carey; three sisters, Janet Geranmayeh and husband Ray, Lisa Bourne, and Cheryl Dsouza; nieces and nephews, Kristina Crowden, Michele Sutton, Michael Marlow, Justin Bourne and wife Denise, Joshua Bryant and wife Nikki, and Brandon Bryant; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at Trinity Memorial on Wednesday October 24th from 10am to 12pm. Funeral service will follow with Pastor Chad Roberts officiating. Graveside will be held immediately following the service at Shelby Hills Cemetery, Bristol, TN. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to help with final expenses. (Donations may be mailed to Trinity Funeral Home, PO Box 7733, Kingsport, TN 37664).
