Steven Ray Eck, 65, of Church Hill, TN, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
Steve was born in Kingsport, TN, in 1957. He enjoyed his career as a truck driver. He loved being on the road. He was a loving father, grandfather, and uncle. Steve loved joking around, often asking if they had a “bald-headed man discount.” Everyone who met him loved his sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by many, including his beloved puppy Zyniah whom he thought of as a granddaughter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Thelma Leitch; sisters, Debbie Johnson, Sharon Shipley.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Stephanie Madden and husband Brandon, Stacey Glenn; grandchildren, Bradley Dean, Jared Glenn, Aiden Glenn, Cayden Richardson; brother, Ricky Murray; nieces, Jennifer Mercer, Brittany Bowman, Shelly Goodwin, Eddie Goodwin and wife Carol; great-uncle, Carroll Jennings.
A memorial service will be held at 1:oo PM on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Shades of Grace United Methodist Church, 313 E. Sullivan Street, Kingsport, TN 37660. Pastor Will Shewey will be officiating.
