Stephanie Renee Armour, 49, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016.
Renee was born in Denver, Colorado and moved to Kingsport where she spent the most of her life. She was a remarkable person who had many friends. Renee was the type of person who put others before herself. Renee treasured her grandkids, they were her whole world. She loved her job and her co-workers quickly became more like family. Her favorite hobbies included bowling, of which she was a member of many leagues, attending Nascar races, and watching the New England Patriots. If you met her, you would be drawn to her personality and friendships quickly blossomed. Her time was cut short on this earth but her impact will be felt for many many years. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Gary Armour; mother, Frances Kay Oaks; grandmothers, Cleo Oaks and Georgia Edens.
She is survived by her daughters, Krystal Smith and Nichole Armour; step-sons, Joshua and girlfriend, Laura Gribben and Skylar and wife, Amy Armour; grandkids, Joshua Blake and Sophia Woody and Kylee and Skylar “Little Sky” Armour; father, Cecil Oaks; brother, Brad and wife, LeeAnn Oaks; sister, Melissa and husband, Steve Hall; niece, Megan Kruppa; nephew, Ayden; and special friend, Tammy Scalf.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 1 to 2 PM at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 2 PM with Pastor Richard Fifield officiating. Graveside service will follow at 3 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery in the Garden of Everlasting Life.
