Shirley Irene Shackelford Bowman, 66, of Mosheim, TN, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was born on April 25, 1952 in Manila, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Ira and Grace Hitt Shackelford. Shirley lived most of her life in the Bristol area.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Billy Junior Ashby III; and granddaughter, Kristen Hicks.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Paul Bowman; daughters, Kim Easley and husband J.D., and Deborah Thompson; sons, Donny Hicks, Danny Hicks, Stacy Hicks and Eddie Burks; special nephew, William Taylor; grandchildren, Blake Thompson, Dylan Puckett, Billy Easley, Christine Easley, Katlynn Hicks, Megan Hicks and Alexis Hicks; great grandchildren, Paxton Sherman; and several siblings, nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. The service is to follow at 8:00 PM.
