Robert Lee Bowman, 66, of Bristol, VA, passed away on Tuesday, December 26th, 2017.
Robert enjoyed being active. He spent a lot of time out fishing and camping. Robert loved playing the lottery and poker. His favorite show was MASH. He spent the first part of his life driving trucks with his dad. Robert spoke to his grandchildren often, whom he loved very much. He was proud of his sister, Mary and niece Nancy, and their barrel racing careers. He had a kind heart, loved to cut up, and loved his wife more than anything. He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded by his parents, William and Leona Bowman; brothers, Roger Jones, and Gary Bowman.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Rita Bowman; son, Anthony and wife Brooke Holcombe; daughter, Rejeana and husband Darrin Alexandar; brother, Henry Wayne Bowman; sister, Mary Ellen; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 28th from 4pm to 6pm at First Church of God (301 Georgia Avenue, Bristol, TN). Funeral service will follow at 6pm with Pastor Dwight Marlow officiating.
