Randall “Randy” Lee Cox, 49, was called home on Thursday, June 1, 2017.
Randy was born in Kingsport, Tennessee and went to Central High School. He worked for the City of Kingsport for 14 years. Randy was an avid Volkswagen enthusiast. He also loved tinkering around with electronics, motors, computers, anything he would touch he could fix. He has a large model car collection he enjoyed assembling, air brush painting, down to the smallest details. Randy was full of life, truly enjoyed living, loved challenges, and was surrounded by loving family. He will be greatly missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Edgar and Phyllis Short Cox;
He is survived by his son, Austin (Rachel) Cox; daughter, Autumn (Melvin) Cox; and loving grand daughter, Layla; sisters, Kim Gillenwater, Paula Weldon;
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 6th at 11am.
