Melody Kay Weidleman, 68, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Monday, February 10th, 2020.
Melody was born in Lima, OH in 1951 and grew up in Fulton County. After High School she married and had 2 wonderful children whom she loved.
She was a graduate of Owens Community College where she acquired her accounting degree. She went on to open her own business, AAA Bookkeeping, where she had many loyal clients over 30 plus years. She was proud of her business and enjoyed her career.
Melody loved spoiling her grandchildren, traveling with her family, enjoyed camping, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
Melody had a very caring soul and a big heart. She always helped others before herself. She made many wonderful lifelong friends along the way and will be greatly missed by a host of friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Deloris Huber.
Melody is survived by her daughter, Carla Smith and husband Jeremy; son, Geoffrey Miller and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Carla Goode and husband Zach, Jeremy Smith, Tyler McLaughlin, Sydnee McLaughlin, Jacob Smith, Andrew Miller, Caitlin Miller, Jacoby Miller; sister, Gwen Terwilliger and husband Richard; brother, Fritz Huber and wife Kristen.
A private Celebration of Life will be held for the family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Cancer Society in her name.
