Lloyd “Murdoc” David Thomas Jr, 61, of Bristol, TN, passed away on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018 with his family and friends by his side.
Murdoc was born in Abingdon, Va to the late Lloyd David Thomas Sr and Dorothy Stringer Thomas. He was a good man, he loved his family, and the best way to pay tribute to him is to keep this obituary simple like he lived life.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Hazel Wheeler (husband,James Wheeler).
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 31 years, Deborah Thomas; sons, Lloyd David Thomas III (wife,Kim), Jeremy Carroll (wife,Jennifer), Thomas Matthew Rhoten; daughter, Bridget Graybeal; grandchildren, Austin Thomas, Caleb Thomas, Jeremiah Carroll, Arabella “Bell” Fannon, and Skylar Janne; sisters, Barbara Offield (husband, Silas), Louella Hall (husband,Danny), Joyce Yarber (husband,Rolfe); several nieces and nephews; and best friends, Alvin and Rodney Mutter.
Family will be receiving friends at his residence on Sunday April 8th from 2pm to 5pm.
