Linda Lee Collins, 69, passed away on Thursday, July 07, 2016.
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little – but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me – but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone.
It’s all a part of the Master’s plan,
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Richardson; father, Harold Richardson; brothers, James Richardson and Roy “Dub” Richardson Sr.; and grandson, Larry Collins.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Hicks and boyfriend, James Harrison; son, Billy Collins and wife, Deborah; granddaughter, Brandy Hunley and boyfriend, Ray Taylor; grandsons, Dustin, Stephan, Christopher, Harley and Matthew; great granddaughters, Nevaeh, Ariona, Isabella and Molly; great grandsons, Efren, Alex, Harley Jr, Joshua, Tannon and Christopher; sister, Geneva Cross and husband, Dennis; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 6-8pm at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 8pm. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 5pm at McPheeters Bend Baptist Church Cemetery.
