Jamie “Jab” Darrell Ritchie Sr, 46, of Dungannon, VA, gained his heavenly reward on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
Jamie grew up in Coeburn, Virginia. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. Jamie never met a stranger and everyone he ever met loved him. Once you met him, you could never forget him. He was very artistic, was full of life and had a wonderful devotion to the Lord. Jamie loved his children and his grandchildren more than anything. He was surrounded by a large and loving family. Jamie loved his dogs Sky, Teddy and his grand-dog Luke. He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Elizabeth May and Eugene Paul Ritchie; and his mother, Betty Jean Ritchie.
Left to cherish his memory is his fiancé, Christina Turner; his son, Jamie “Blue” Ritchie Jr and wife Angela; his daughter, Shyanne Ritchie; mother of his children, Cindy Ritchie; sister, Alicia Jacobson and husband Jon; nieces and nephew, Kelsey Stout, Brianna and Seth Coleman, Kiara Gibson; grandchildren, Deegan, Andrew, Jake, Easton, and Avery Ritchie; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
Honorary pallbearers include Jon Jacobson, Mark McCoy, Vern Richardson, Matt Green, Josh Horne, and Ricky Mullins.
There will be a celebration of life held at a later date announced by the family.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses.
