Gladys Ann Young, 49, went to be with the Lord on May 28, 2018, after a short illness.
Gladys loved reading, fishing and playing bingo. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother and grandmother. Her favorite place to visit was Gatlinburg. She was a member of Feathers Chapel Freewill Baptist church.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Tony Young; son, Codey Young and wife Alicia Young; daughter, Sandi Goforth and husband Timmy; parents, Charlie and Pat Mooney; father and mother in law, Tom and Billie Young; brothers, Charlie and Mike Mooney; six grandchildren, CJ Young, Jonathan Young, Hunter Young, Braydon Goforth, Justin Goforth and Jeremy Goforth; and brother and sister in law, Jeff and Juanita Young.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 6-7:00 PM at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. The celebration of life will follow at 7 PM with Reverend Scottie Sexton officiating. Special singing will be by Sounds of Praise and Tom Young.
In lieu flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home to defray the funeral costs.
