Gary Lee Armour, 58, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016.
Gary grew up in Indianapolis, IN. His parents moved to Kingsport where he would come to visit them. He eventually moved to Kingsport where he met his wife, Renee, and they were married for 22 years. He had 2 sons and 2 daughters, whom he loved. He spent as much time as he could with his grandkids, who were his real treasures.
Gary’s hobbies included softball, where he got the nickname of “Maniac”, although he already had that nickname from his driving, according to his wife. He loved listening to music and playing guitar with his cousin, Jeff Tuggle. After he was unable to play softball anymore, he took up bowling, which he really enjoyed. Gary was a talker, very outgoing and had many friends. His best friend was his faithful dog, Harley. He was a very special person to so many and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rodney Armour and Jackie.
He is survived by his wife, Renee Armour; sons, Joshua and girlfriend, Laura Gribben and Skylar and wife, Amy Armour; daughters, Krystal Smith and Nichole Armour; grandkids, Kylee and Skylar “Little Sky” Armour, Joshua Blake and Sophia Woody; brother, Terry Johnston; sister, Karen Lynn Adkins; nephews, Wes Adkins and Mark Johnston; cousin, Jeffrey Tuggle; and best friend, Harley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 4-5 PM at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 5 PM with Pastor Chad Roberts officiating.
