Lorraine Shelton, 73, of Leicester went home to be with her Lord on Wed, April 7th, 2021. She passed peacefully at her son’s home in Kingsport TN, surrounded by family.
Lorraine spent her lifetime serving others. She was a dedicated soldier of the Salvation Army, and taught Sunday school to the Teen Class . She was a valued employee of the Hot Springs Health Program for 34 years. She loved flower gardening, traveling and spending time with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Ellen Roberts and her sister Ethel Banks.
Left to cherish her precious memories are her children: Ken Shelton (Kaye), Lola Haley (Jeff) and Laura Medley (Chuck); grandkids: Jessica, David, Alex, Kayla, Mike and Preston: great grandkids: Riley, Jackson, Amanda, Ava ;sister: Kitty Coffey; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday April 11th at 2 pm with memorial service at 3 pm in the Salvation Army Chapel, 750 Haywood Rd. Asheville. Major Mark Satterlee will officiate.
