Donna Sue Pippin Browning, 64, of Kingsport, TN, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 26, 2021.
Donna grew up in Boozy Creek, VA and was a graduate from Gate City Virginia High school. She loved spending time cleaning and filling out word search puzzles. There was never a day that went by where she didn’t call her mother. Donna was a very loving, caring and protective mother as well as a devoted wife to “Zeke”, and did everything she could to make sure her children were taken care of. She loved getting together with family around the holidays especially Christmas and Easter, and never missed an opportunity to pick on her siblings. On everyone’s birthday they always got a card in the mail from her as well.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband of almost 40 years, Allen “Zeke” Browning; mother, Effie Sue Pippin; father, Roby William Pippin of Boozy Creek, VA.
She is survived by her children, Nathan Pippin, Justina Browning (Paul), Stephanie Smith (Aaron); siblings, Danny Pippin (Gena), Dana Pippin (Karen), Curtis Pippin, Cynthia Salyers, Harrison Pippin (Kristi); aunt, Patsy Bright Hood; grandchildren, Makenna Smith, Kellin Smith, Bailey Montaos; nieces and nephews, Jeremy Pippin, Josh Pippin, Carmen Strickler, Ashley McGinn, Dustin Pippin, Ambra Heintz, Steven Pippin, Rachel Taylor, Courtney Kim, Candra Coomer, Tailor Adams, Isabella Pippin Gardner; and several great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to all who have called, donated and messaged during this painful time.
The family will be having a service from 6pm until 8pm at Beaverview Missionary Baptist in Bristol, VA on Thursday, December the 2nd.
