Dawn Diane Burkhart, 49, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016.
Dawn was a wonderful, loving person who enjoyed raising her children and spoiled her grandkids. She was born in New York and moved here when she was a young child. She met Jeff 13 years ago at work and fell in love immediately. They worked together for many years. Dawn and Jeff enjoyed spending time outdoors watching wildlife. She had a very giving heart and was everyone’s best friend. Dawn was best friends with her mother, Diane. She leaves behind many, whom she loved and her grandkids really loved their maw.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Gatewood.
She is survived by her mother, Diane Gatewood; father, Phill Cotsonas and wife, Vaughn; loving husband, Jeff Bledsoe; son, Adam Burkhart and wife, Ashley; daughter, Samantha Walters and Stephen; and grandchildren, Aidyn, Saige, Serenity and Sophia.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 6pm to 7pm at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7pm with Pastor Chad Roberts from Preaching Christ Church officiating.
