Abigail Grace McCracken

October 17, 1998 - February 17, 2018

Abigail Grace McCracken, 19, of Kingsport,TN was carried by the angels, which are welcoming one of their own back home, on Saturday, February 17, 2018.

Abby was born in Dallas, Texas. After being in foster care for the first nine years of her life, she was brought to Kingsport to be adopted by Anne DeBord and ex-husband, Jerry McCracken.

In Heaven to welcome Abby home is her grandmother, June E. Poe, Charlie and Cleo DeBord.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Anne and Dayton DeBord; brothers, Scott Harkleroad (Union Springs, AL), Paul Harkleroad (Kingsport) and Mikah McCracken (Greeneville, TN); sisters, Adriane Ortiz and husband, Omar (Kingsport) and Ripley Barron (Kingsport); a twin sister who was adopted at birth; aunt, Lynne and Rick Jones; nieces, Allora (Harkleroad) Argo, Sarah Harkleroad, Rebecca Harkleroad and Timera Barron; and nephews, Jerob Addison and Obie Addison.

Special thank you to the ones who have helped us care for Abby the past six years, Interim Home Health, Mary Polan and Kim Loggins. Mountain States Hospice nurses, Sara, Beth, Ruby, Crystal, and CNA Torina. Thank you all for the love and care given to Abby. -Anne and Dayton DeBord

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm with a service to follow at 7:00 pm. Jerry Hensley will be officiating. Special music will be by Adriane Ortiz.
