Cheryl Frances “Ninnie” Jessup, 73, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016. She was born in Washington, DC and moved here in the late 80’s. She drove a school bus for Powhatan Virginia County Schools and loved caring for the children. She spent her retirement in East Tennessee where she spoiled her grand kids something terrible. She was a member of the Red Hat Lady’s Society and of the Mount Carmel Senior Center where she loved playing bingo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee Jessup; parents, James Richard Spitzer and Ruby Burrell Harrelson; and sons, Bobbe Gene Fulke and Dennis Wayne Fulke.
She is survived by her daughters, Becky and husband, Terry Coffey of Mt. Carmel, TN and Christine and husband, Randy Kelly of Harlan County, Kentucky; three grandsons, Thomas “Tony” and wife, Candice Givens, Richard “Ricky” Givens and Randy Lee Kelly; and six great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 11 AM at Serenity Baptist Church (208 East Lane Street, Church Hill, TN 37642).
